UNIFY: RØDE’s virtual mixer for streamers.
Route every audio source on your PC into one mixer, process it, build separate mixes for your stream, your teammates and your own headphones, and record every track on its own. Free download for Windows and macOS.
What it does
UNIFY is the audio control centre of a streaming or gaming setup. It mixes up to four microphones and six virtual audio devices — Spotify, Discord, your game — and lets you build independent sub-mixes for each output, so your audience, your teammates and your own ears each hear exactly what they should.
Processing
A compressor, noise gate and high-pass filter per channel, plus the APHEX Aural Exciter and Big Bottom. With RØDE USB-C microphones the processing runs on the DSP chip inside the mic, which keeps the load off your CPU and gives zero-latency direct monitoring in your headphones. The most granular control is only available with those USB-C mics.
Recording and OBS
Multichannel recording writes each track to its own file, so a copyright-safe cut for VODs, clips or YouTube is an edit rather than a re-record. Or skip recording and send the mix straight to OBS.
Compatible hardware
Windows 10 or later, or macOS 12 Monterey or later.
